The Governor, Ms Rena Lalgie, has announced the appointment of Mr Narinder Hargun as a Justice of Appeal of the Court of Appeal of Bermuda with effect from 1 January 2025.
The Governor said “Mr Hargun brings to the Court of Appeal a wealth of valuable knowledge and insight not only from his judicial experience as the Chief Justice of Bermuda for five years but also his extensive experience in Bermuda’s Courts over the past 37 plus years as a lawyer.”
Mr Hargun said "I am honoured to be appointed as a Justice of Appeal by Her Excellency the Governor. The Court of Appeal performs an important role in maintaining the excellent reputation of the Bermuda judiciary in relation to both local and international cases. I look forward to working with the President and other Justices of Appeal."
