Bermuda today (Oct. 16) welcomed Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Gloucester to the island earlier today, marking the beginning of her official visit.
HRH was greeted upon arrival by His Excellency the Governor, Mr. Andrew Murdoch CMG, Premier the Hon. David Burt JP MP, Opposition Leader Robert King, Chief Justice Larry Mussenden, and other Government officials.

The Duchess’ visit celebrates the 60th Anniversary of the Royal Bermuda Regiment, where she serves as Colonel-in-Chief. Her itinerary also includes engagements that highlight Bermuda’s rich heritage, vibrant community, and commitment to environmental stewardship.
This marks HRH The Duchess of Gloucester’s fourth official visit to Bermuda, with her last visit taking place in 2015.

- Royal Bermuda Regiment Trooping of the Colours and presentation of operational service medals (11.20 am ~ 12.30 pm):
- Open to the public, all are welcome. (Free*) This event will also be carried live on the Government’s television station CITV.
- A free ferry will depart from Hamilton Ferry Terminal at 9.45am to transport members of the public to Dockyard for the Parade and operational medal presentation. The same ferry will be returning to Hamilton at the end of the event.

- Royal Bermuda Regiment Gala Dinner
