Minister Weeks Visits Royal Bermuda Regiment Personnel in Jamaica During Recovery Mission

Leopard’s Club Unveils Newly Renovated Hall

The Government of Bermuda joined members of The Leopards Club as they marked the official unveiling of the Club’s newly renovated main hall on 24 February, alongside a ceremony recognising the Club’s Life Members. The event brought together members and invited guests to celebrate both the completion of the improvement works and the individuals whose long-standing service has helped sustain the organisation’s presence in the community.

Minister of Tourism & Transport, Culture & Sport, the Hon. Owen Darrell, JP, MP, who delivered remarks at the ceremony, said: “The Leopards Club has maintained a steady role in Bermuda’s community life for many years. Organisations like this strengthen neighbourhood connections and provide important spaces for engagement. The Government was pleased to provide $85,000 to support upgrades to the Club’s main hall, ensuring the facility remains safe and functional for members and the wider community.”

This investment helped to fund key enhancements to the Club’s main hall, reinforcing the Government’s commitment to supporting community infrastructure across Bermuda. The upgraded facility will continue to serve as a central space for meetings, events and community activities, reflecting the shared commitment to maintaining institutions that contribute positively to Bermuda’s social fabric.
