The Consultative Immigration Reform Working Group is pleased to invite interested parties to roundtable discussions based upon the principles that will form new immigration policies.
The Roundtable discussions focus on the following:
Thursday September 21st Permanent Resident Certificates (PRC)
Thursday September 28th Bermuda Status
All meetings will take place at Elliott Primary School from 6:30 pm to 9:00pm.
Chairman of the Group Mr. William Madeiros said, “The purpose of these discussions is to have the public comment on the guiding principles that will form our recommendations to the Minister of Home Affairs.” The Chairman went on to say, “We urge the public come prepared to discuss and make recommendations.”
If you are unable to attend either of the sessions, we encourage you to send your submissions to the Consultative Immigration Reform Working Group via our dropbox located on the ground floor of the Government Administration Building on Parliament Street, or send an email to immigrationbda@gmail.com
The group will submit their recommendations after public consultation by October 31, 2017.
