In recent years, your Government has worked tirelessly to deliver on our mandate to the people of Bermuda. We have introduced innovative and relevant policies that help to ensure a better life for the people of Bermuda.

The Government remains committed to ensuring that the people of Bermuda are cared for, provided for and have access to fair and equitable opportunities to thrive. 

Over the last seven years, we have delivered a number of programmes, initiatives and policies in healthcare, education, youth, seniors, child care, energy reform, environmental protection and sustainability, economic recovery and economic strategy. 

We look forward to continuing to serve Bermuda and working even harder for Bermudian families, residents and businesses.

In his Labour Day address at Union Square, the Premier of Bermuda, the Hon. David Burt, JP, MP, emphasized the importance of unity and collective effort in shaping Bermuda’s labour movement. Premier Burt highlighted that the island's history is a testament to the power of community, where solidarity, sacrifice, and a shared commitment to equality have led to landmark achievements in securing better working conditions, fairer wages, and the recognition of workers' rights.

In his Labour Day remarks delivered at Union Square, the Minister of Economy and Labour the Hon. Jason hayward, JP, MP reiterated the Government’s commitment to building a better and fairer Bermuda for our workers.

This Government has implemented Bermuda’s first statutory minimum wage on June 1st, 2023, and is proud to have taken a significant step toward building a better and fairer Bermuda for our workers. This landmark legislation ensures that every worker receives a dignified wage, reflecting our ongoing commitment to equity, fairness, and the well-being of all Bermudians.
