The Hon. Diallo V. Rabin JP, MP, Minister of the Cabinet Office and Digital Innovation attended Canto's 40th Annual Conference- Theme "Towards A unified and stable gigabit society", from the 13 to 16 of July 2025.
The Hon. Diallo Rabain, Minister of Education attended the 19th International Convening of the Global Education Leaders Partnership (GELP) which was hosted by Google for Education at Google’s state-of-the-art Japan headquarters in Shibuya, Tokyo. He was accompanied by the Education Reform Unit’s Leader, Ms. Lisa DeSilva. The focus was on conference was on Leading Education Transformation, they were able to learn and explore how Bermuda’s education reform programme and efforts align with global challenges related to educational transformation.
The Hon. Diallo Rabain, JP, MP, Minister of Education, was invited to present in a workshop "Transforming Learning" at the Global Education Leaders Partnership Conference 2022 (GELP). GELP is a global network of leaders of education systems, institutions and capacity-building organisations who are developing and implementing education innovation and transformation to meet the challenge of preparing every learner to thrive in the 21st century.
The Minister of Education, the Hon. Diallo Rabain, JP, MP, led the Bermuda delegation at the Education World Forum 2023 (EWF 2023). The theme of the event was New Beginnings: Nurturing Learning Culture, Building Resilience, Promoting Sustainability. Stronger, Bolder, Better Education by Design. The delegation included team members of the Education Reform Unit, Ms. Lisa DeSilva, Ms. LeeAnn Simmons and Ms. Shana Williams.
Minister Diallo Rabain, JP, MP attended the 2020 Education World Forum which is an event held annually in London, U.K. for Education professionals from all over the world. This event offers great insights, developments and opportunity for building partnerships, coalitions and cooperation between professionals in Education involved in educational development and change.
