Senator The Hon. Michael M. Fahy, JP, Minister of Tourism, Transport & Municipalities attended the ICE VOX, International Casino Conference with his Permanent Secretary Randy Rochester.
The Conference is the second largest in the world. Discussion were held with operators, vendors, regulators about gaming, technology and the worldwide regulators convention.

Gaming Commission (BCGC) met with the New Jersey Regulators, in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Meetings in New York City with British Overseas Airways (BOAC) and JetBlue
Senator The Hon. Michael M. Fahy, JP, Minister of Tourism, Transport & Municipalities met with Senior Officials for British Airways and also JetBlue. This finalised the increase JetBlue airlift.
CHICOS 2015
Senator The Hon. Michael M. Fahy, JP, Minister of Tourism, Transport & Municipalities travelled to San Juan, Puerto Rico to be a guest speaker as well as part of the panelist at the Fifth Edition Caribbean Hotel Investment Conference & Operations Summit (CHICOS).
Sen. Fahy was able to showcase the hotel developments currently underway, to discussing what the island had to offer that sets Bermuda.
Successful discussions were held with the organizers of the CHICOS conference regarding Bermuda being the host country for the annual event in 2017.

Association of Caribbean Corporate Counsel (ACCC)
Senator the Hon. Michael M. Fahy, JP, Minister of Tourism, Transport & Municipalities attended the Association of Caribbean Corporate Counsel, 4th Annual Caribbean Corporate Counsel Summit 2016 on behalf of the Hon. Trevor G. Moniz, JP, MP, Attorney-General and Minister of Legal-Affairs who was unable to attend 7 - 9 September, 2016.
Senator Fahy was an honorarium keynote speaker at the 4th Annual Caribbean Corporate Counsel Summit 2016.
An honourarium of $1,000 was provided to the Ministry for attendance which offset the cost of the airline ticket.
Dallas, Texas and Aruba and New York Meetings
Monday, 18 July - Dallas, Texas, Meeting with Officials of American Airlines
Meetings were held with American Airline executives to discuss current and future flight schedules to the island.
Tuesday and Wednesday July 19 and 20 - Aruba
Minister attended a series of meetings with hotel developers which included a look at how casinos operate in the region.
US-Caribbean Security Meeting
The Minister traveled to Nassau Bahamas to attend the US-Caribbean High Level Citizen Security Meetings from June 3rd to 5th 2015 - which was presented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Immigration of the Commonwealth of Bahamas and held at the Atlantis Paradise Island Resort Hotel.
The aim of the meetings was to address issues of security in the region for Caribbean citizens by way of discussions with the United States, since it is recognized that a large portion of illegal firearms enter the Caribbean through the United States.
