Welcome to the Minister of Education’s Debate Challenge 2024/25! We are thrilled to provide students aged 10-14 with the opportunity to develop their public speaking, critical thinking, and debate skills while discussing meaningful topics. Program Overview

The Debate Challenge is a prestigious event hosted by the Ministry of Education, offering students from across Bermuda the chance to showcase their debate skills. Participants will engage in weekly training sessions and compete in debates between October 14th, 2024, and March 16th, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

• Age: Applicants must be between 10 and 14 years old by December 31st, 2024.

• Commitment: Participants must be available for weekly training sessions and the competition.

This program is designed to help students enhance their public speaking abilities, become more confident communicators, and learn to express their opinions on important issues.
