The Minister of National Security attended the Blockchain Futurist Conference on August 16th in Toronto, Canada, where he spoke on two panels; 1) discussion on blockchain regulation and 2) discussion on Bermuda FinTech Strategy. The Minister attended seven media interviews and fifteen meetings with industry stakeholders including potential companies interested in domiciling in Bermuda. The Minister also met with Stuart G. Davis, Chief Anti-Money Laundering Officer at BMO Financial Group and met at the law firm of Baker McKenzie with Peter MacKay, Partner, in reference to banking cybersecurity.
