SeaTrade Cruise Global

The Hon Minister Lawrence Scott, JP MP, Minister of Transport attended the SeaTrade Cruise Global event in Miami, Florida. He was accompanied by his technical officer for Cruise Line Relations and Transport Planning as well as Mr. Charles Jeffers II, CEO, and Ms. Tashae Thompson, Director of Experience both from the Bermuda Tourism Authority. 

After a two-year hiatus from SeaTrade, the Minister had meetings with several cruise lines to promote Bermuda as a cruise destination and to build Bermuda's small-ship luxury product for St. George's and Hamilton. Cruise partners also discussed future investment in Bermuda along with training and employment opportunities for Bermudians interested in careers in hospitality.
