Government House | King's Coronation Medal Ceremony
Last night (June 12), Her Excellency the Governor, Ms. Rena Lalgie, hosted a ceremony to award Coronation Medals to the civilians that actively participated in official events to mark the Coronation of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla in Bermuda and London.
The Bermuda Scouts were honoured with Coronation Medals for their assistance during the Coronation in London. They were assigned to work alongside the Police on the south side of Buckingham Palace, where they helped with crowd control. Their support enabled the police to concentrate on the official responsibilities of the Coronation.
