Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport Senator, the Hon. Owen K. Darrell was invited to attend the Iconic Summit in Miami, Florida, from December 6th to December 8th 2024.  The Summit was hosted by the Hon. Ian Gooding-Edghill, Minister of Tourism and International Transport, Barbados, and by Mr. Michael Bayley, President and CEO of Royal Caribbean International.

The Iconic Summit "Envisioning Caribbean Tourism" provided an opportunity for Caribbean regions to establish firm connections within the Council of Ministers and Commissioners of Tourism. Through collaboration and innovation, Bermuda can be positioned as the most desirable, year-round, warm weather destination for visitors seeking exceptional experiences.

Minister Darrell was accompanied by Pandora V. Glasford, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport.
