This Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is an invitation by the Government of Bermuda (the "Government") to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the Royal Bermuda Regiment Coast Guard Substation Facility - Building Repairs, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the "Deliverables").
The Ministry of Public Works seeks to engage a qualified contractor for the renovation and construction of the Royal Bermuda Regiment Coast Guard Substation.
The scope of works includes site preparation, demolition of existing structures, debris removal, structural repairs, masonry, roofing, window replacement, door replacement and interior finishes. Additionally, the project involves upgrades to HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems, the installation of perimeter fencing with foundation work, the excavation and construction of a new bund wall, and the supply and automation of a secure sliding entrance gate.

Pre-Bid / Site Meeting
A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held for Proponents on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at 11:00 am. The purpose of the meeting will be to visit the site, clarify issues and to answer questions.
The bidder is requested, as far as possible, to submit any questions in writing, to reach the RFP Contact no later than one week before the meeting.
The pre-bid meeting will take place at the Royal Bermuda Regiment Coast Guard Substation Facility site.
