Breastfeeding
The National Breastfeeding Committee comprises representatives from the Department of Health, the hospital, private pediatricians and community members. We meet regularly and offer free public breastfeeding education sessions to align with our aim to protect, promote and suppport breastfeeding in Bermuda.
We recommend that parents with questions or concerns about their breastfeeding journey contact their Health Visitor directly or call the Child Health Clinic at 441-278-6461 to be connected with one. You can also email healthvisitor@gov.bm.

We believe that creating a welcoming environment for breastfeeding families not only supports the health and well-being of mothers and babies but also fosters a sense of inclusivity and community within our local establishments.
